Tensile Testers

Mark-10 Tensile Testers are suitable for materials testing, elongation testing, connector withdrawal testing, spring testing, and many other tensile and pull testing applications. Configure your tensile tester from a wide range of test frames, force sensors, grips, and accessories. See the list of items below for details.

Shown at left: F305-IMT test frame with an FS05 force sensor, and G1061 wedge grips.

Mark-10 Tensile Testers consist of the following:

1. Test frame - produces the force necessary for the test.

2. Control panel - used to create and run tests, manage results, create reports, and manually control the test frame.

3. Force sensor series FS05 and R07 force sensors measure both tension and compression force. They mount directly to Series F test frames.

4. Grips and fixtures - many types of grips are available. All Mark-10 sensors and test frames have fixing threads to allow for alternative fixture mounting.

Typical applications:

Tensile testing of an elastomeric sample using two G1061 wedge grips

Tension spring test using two G1077 clevis grips
